If You Could Visit any Pipe Shop...

Living in Northern Virginia, I am blessed with several pipe shops within an hour from my residence: 5 Old Virginia Tobacco Companies, the closest of which is 15 minutes away, and holds monthly “ Pipe Nights”two Tobaccology stores, which stock decent blends, Leesburg Pipe and Cigar, and John B. Hayes in Winchester. Also Boswells in only 75 minutes from me.

I spent the first 31 years of my life in Chicago and spent a lot of time at Iwan Ries and now travel annually to Florida and always stop at Low Country Pipe and Cigar in North Myrtle Beach, which I hold is the best of them all.

Al, it’s a great place, it’s around a hour from where I stay and when we go down to myrtle beach I always have to make a stop, if you ever find your self in the Wilmington NC area stop at Davis and Sons and Ansteads if your in the Fayetteville NC area

For me it's a toss up between LJ Peretti or Iwan Reiss, I'm leaning towards the former because of their legendary house blends. There's quite a few others I'd love to visit, Le Civette, JJ Fox, and Peterson come to mind. As for closed one's definitely Kramer's followed by Drucquer and Sons
