George, don't know if you're on the Missouri side or the Kansas side of KC, but I'm in central Kansas myself. As you know, we get this crap every summer, which I hate, Though your side of the state is usually higher in humidity than ours.
I left central Kansas about 10 years ago......for Houston. On the plus side, an open tin of tobacco takes a looong time to dry out with our humidity down here
Buddy of mine at good old Ft Huachuca used to say "you can talk about 'dry heat' all you want, but once it gets over a hundred & five it's just damn hot....." :clap:
