Hey folk, wondering what people find the ideal ball jar size?

My only tip for filling jars is, leave a bit of room at the very top. The worst thing that can happen is, if you get some tobacco between the lip of the jar and the seal on the lid. It will not age and it will dry out. Keep your lids free of debris.
Depends on the quantity you want to store or age at once, to state the obvious. Smaller jars are convenient if you only want to be opening and closing a small amount of the blend on hand or only have an ounce or two. To not accumulate jars, I tentatively tried using old jam jars that screw down tight but are not sealed like a canning jar. Usually, because the amount of leaf contained is small, they work pretty well, keep some moisture, and spare buying more items. Depending on the humidity in your area, it might work ... run a test with an ounce or less of what's left of some blend.
Hmmm I recall a recent post here, and he has some tips on P&C's website. Not 100% sure where I saw it.Awesome. Will keep my eyes peeled.
Where does he talk about cellaring? Is it in a video or is it on this forum here..?
I did a bit of research and watch some of his vids. Very cool.

Some of us enjoy the sound of the jars (one for each ball, of course) clanging whilst out for a stroll. Very bucolic.Honestly, why would anyone want to jar their balls. It just sounds so uncomfortable.
