As I read the threads and learn new things every day, I want to express my agreement/thanks. I wish we had a Like Button. Any change of getting that added?

It's a nice idea but kinda defeats the purpose of the forum.
Someone who might have something useful or encouraging to say might opt-out in favor of hitting a simple "like button"
I think a lot of us would appreciate the site staying as far away from Facebook and its concepts as possible. I study interpersonal communication and while I'm no Ph.D, I could go on for a while about the communication problems Facebook creates.
One of the reasons I'm here, and I think a lot of others are, is because this forum is very un-like Facebook. :puffy:

Well, sometimes we have something to add and other times we dont but agree. Maybe its just me but i would find it encouraging if people liked what i have to contribute but not everyone has the time to write stuff. I do in the AMs and at night but not during the day very often. Just my .02.

I don't feel the need to see how many people agree with me. I take solace in the fact that I'm always right and you are all wrong.
:)
+1? Anyone?
Haha. Thanks for pitching the idea. But I'm in the against party.

I'm with rothn and don't get the "like" feature of Facebook, seems silly.

Another pipe forum has this feature and it seems like a waste of a keystroke, my opinion only. But, I'm widely recognized as someone who is always correct.....

I like the way the forum works without a "like" button. You can respond with a "+1", simply say "like what you said", or give your input on why you do or don't agree, to whatever extent you feel necessary.
I think this forum is about as close as you can come in cyberspace to actually sitting while smoking a pipe somewhere and having a conversation with some of the folks on the forum.

wait I think I got it 2 work

no seriously though if you like it comment it also bumps it so other people can see it in the forum feed without having to dig around
