Great article! I am glad that she included your former stance on sticking together as tobacco users. It let everyone know that you wanted us to stand together but it is a lost cause now. Time for "everyone for themselves"

Thanks for the link, Kevin. As I posted there and elsewhere,
If the intent of the tax is to discourage cigarette smoking, and the difficulty in distinguishing RYO tobacco from pipe tobacco is insuperable, then tax rolling papers and RYO paraphernalia, and allow the industry serving thousands of epicurean pipe smokers to thrive.

Taxes do not alter life style decisions. If the Feds wanted to they could just outlaw tobacco and be done with it. This is about collecting money and i can assure you that some idiot has pegged a number of $'s that will roll in to the government coffers; and that number will be unrealistically high. Ergo, shortfall in projected revenue.
