Well, I read all the positive talk about C&D Pegasus on here and thought it sounded pretty good. Especially since I'm starting to get more into burley blends.

I trusted the forum consensus and against my better judgement ordered 8oz of Pegasus last week. Last night I dried it out for about 30 minutes (it wasn't too moist) and loaded up my Selected Straight Grain basket pipe (likely a Chacom second) and proceeded to smoke.

You guys (as a consensus) have lead me down the proper path. It was a very good smoke and I was glad I got 8oz!

I smoked Pegasus for the first time just a few weeks ago - I love it. It scratches that burley itch, but is much sweeter and milder than something like Haunted Bookshop.

Burley borders on raw sewage to me so I am sure it wasn't my advice you were following. But that's why we have many different blends.

Pegasus is good stuff! One of my go-to burley blends, and I'm not much of a burley smoker. In fact, due to reading this post, I am currently having a bowl of Pegasus in a Peterson straight apple Aran pipe, with a cup of coffee. Tasty!

2oz is a sample. If I know a blend is going to be at worst smoked always go for the larger option. Best part though if you buy an 8oz or bigger option and you hate it and just can't smoke it, it will still have some real trade power.

I love the taste upon lighting. I do find the C&D blends just a touch on the harsh to retro, but I’m an OTC junkie. It’s nice to visit C&D once in a while. Pegasus is a tasty treat. Enjoy! It’s great to find a blend you like
