Also good to see another college kid pipe smoker. When I'm sitting on the campus green, I'm usually puffing on a pipe. Luckily we haven't fallen prey to the smoke-free disease, but considering that the outdoor area is full of only smokers, we would riot if they tried to change that.

Great going, Sam. I think you will find that pipe smoking can indeed be something of a social event when in the company of fellow pipe smokers.
As for that university, I personally would choose a different school and send off a letter to the offending one to let them know exactly why they wouldn't be receiving my tuition money.

nice, i was a little hesitant to smoke out in public at first but i took my pipe to our local auto show and now i take it out all the time
