I'm surprised that nobody has mentioned contacting your local Lion's Club. That's their main mission, to help people get glasses and solve other sight issues.

I wear prescription glasses and found a site online called Zenni optical...I ordered a pair for 92.00 including shipping and couldn't be happier. I ordered progressive lenses. I'm not affiliated with zenni at all...just saying why pay 400.00 for glasses when you don't have to.

I picked up my new glasses today and am very pleased in the amount of time it took. I was told to expect a week or two for them to get finished. 3 days is great!!
I forgot how a nice pair of glasses fit your face nice and snug. My old glasses were falling apart for some time. They were just a cheap brand and it showed, these are high quality from a known company (SPY) and I couldn't be happier!!

Figured I would post a pic for the heck of it. New glasses, smoking my lattice meer. Can't pin point exactly what tobacco is in it because it's some leftovers from the past 4 or so days mixed up. Since I'm running low of tobacco I don't want want to waste any leftover LOL! Most likely LBF, Klondike Flake, a mild aro that I rarely touch, and possibly some LNF. It's actually not that bad!
These specks are close to the same shape as my last but these are metal framed, slightly thinner around the lenses and much heavier. Once I exited the store and walked into the sun all of a sudden it started to become darker and I kinda freaked out a little. I forgot these have the transition lenses in them. PRETTY COOL!!

Nice 'stache. Don't see many young men that are willing to put the work into grooming like that. Glasses look good too!

Thanks for the compliments! It has been a year and a half in the making now. Most people young or old don't have the patience to grow it but I've wanted one for so long and I just love it. Luckily SWMBO doesn't hate it so it makes life a little easier. Now if I could just master the art of clenching (which I do more often than not) without looking like a damn fool!
