There was no blend that spoke directly to my soul-the immortal one. So, I blended my own...actually several-the soul is not easily satisfied. I arrived at "Remnants of Debby." Not the one that did immoral things in Dallas, but the hurricane in 2024. Yes, strong at first, but then mild...a gentle rain that last long enough to make mowing the grass an imperative of the next weekend.
2 parts bright burley
1 parts golden Virginia
1 parts BCA
.5 parts Virginia Vanilla Gold
The beauty of this mixture is that a blender, such as we are, can use any blending component for the .5 ingredient. You like cherry - very cherry; dark fired - KY dark fired; perique, oriental, latakia; etc., etc., etc.
AND THERE'S MORE!
Switch the Virginia and Burley ratios, and well, you're a Burley hater, and I guess that's alright too.
The point is that if you want a smooth blend, customized to your itch, do it yourself!
I change between vanilla, cherry, bourbon, and dark fired. I find that rotating these keeps each blend relevant and new.
Your results may vary, no refunds!
