I've already posted a few times in the forums, but I realized I never came over here to say hello to you all. I'm a new pipe smoker--been at it for about a year now, though as a young teenager I was always interested. Back in the day my dad had a friend who smoked pipes and I always enjoyed watching him light and smoke them. So now, decades later, I decided to give it a try, and I really enjoy it.

Now I have five pipes and a couple of Japanese-made lighters. My favorite is the bent Dublin. It's a Savinelli Roma 920. Incidentally, I'm an American horn half Italian and my dad is from Italy, so I have a bit of a affinity for this pipe, I guess. I'm planning to get another bent Dublin by Peterson. I have my eye on one right now.

I'm also a writer, and I'm thinking about writing some fantasy stories with pipe smoking being a central theme.
