I need some Christmas Ideas

I need some help finding affordable pipes with character for my roommates, something like these:

but the price has me thinking they will be really cheaply made, I have 3 roommates btw
by "character" I mean not a usual pipe, something a little out of the ordinary, I am on a budget though

Missouri Meerschaums!!
I ordered three of them yesterday for $3.99 each.... and I know they'll smoke great!

One of them is going to a guy at the station who has expressed interest in trying the pipe.

Tommy's spot on w/ missorri mearschaum. A good smoker and a 1/2 POUND of tobacco, you'll stin come in under and entry level briar..... those danish egg's have plenty of character.
