Is that band original to the pipe?
Wondered since it appears the shank had been cut - assume it was repaired?I don’t think so given there is an electroplate stamp (EP) on the band and it is covering the stamp.

Howdy. I just picked up this Comoy’s 368 Pebble Grain. I must say that I do enjoy it, but am wondering if anyone can figure the age by the stamping . Is it from the 1960s, 70’s or 80s? any help is appreciated. The C appears to be pressed in and does not appear to be in 3 parts as I would have...pipesmagazine.com

The number looks 4 digit (is it "3680"?) which would suggest generally after the late 70s, but can't really tell if that's a zero after the "368".
I'd say what's left of it that may be Comoy's is consistent with that 80s and after, though, but doesn't seem to be much left to call it a "Comoy's"?
