I need a great Aromatic to get back into the house

Nording Pointer smells like Cracker Jacks and my better half likes it .

Lanes 1Q or Dans Sweet Vanilla Honeydew would get my vote. Both smell great and the Sweet Vanilla Honeydew smells great in the tin and when lit too.

De Luxe Mixture from Peterson also has vanilla in the casing. It's most pronounced casing to me would be the walnut. It's a very nutty blend with a touch of vanilla and honey. One that I tried lastnight at a pipe club meeting, and bought the last tin of on my way out afterwards, is McClelland's "Best of Show" premium aromatic. Can't find a hint of vanilla, but it says it's cased with nougat. It has a very caramel like note to the tin and smoke. Almost like some sort of nougatty pastry. It was a crowd pleaser to even the non-aromatic fans. I definitely suggest picking up a tin of it. My fiance loved the smelled that lingered in my scruffy NHL playoff beard.

I recently tried a nice aromatic that actually tastes good. It's by McClelland and called Best of Show. It has a nougat top flavoring.

Dan Sweet Vanilla Honeydew is by far the best vanilla blend that I have smoked.

I would also suggest lane 1Q. I haven't been able to experiment with much vanilla yet. But I know my wife enjoys the smell of C&D Autumn evening. Smells like marshmellows on a campfire and tastes like pumpkin pie.

I smoke 1Q when I am gonna smoke around town. I like it enough and honestly it smells great both in the bag and burning.
(one night i was smoking in the bar area of a local italian eatery and there must have been 5 people who wanted to smell the tobacco in the pouch as i was smoking...it seemed odd to me but everyone had very favorable opinions.)

My favorite aromatic is Iwan Ries Three Star Gray, been smoking that one for years. I also picked up a tin of Stanwell Melange the other day and it has a great room note and tastes great as well. Don't know of many vanilla blends, we have a local B&M that has a good one so I usually get that.

My wife wants me to get a strong cherry aromatic. Her grandfather smoked a blend of Half & Half and some Black Cherry (no doubt drugstore tobacco's). I've tried Boswell's "Cherry Cobler", which is pleasant, but she says not the right smell. Any suggestions? Is Half & Half or this Black Cherry still available?

I've heard CAO's Cherry Bomb is a good cherry blend. Usually for cherry blends I just pick up some house blends from the local tobacconist.
