Man, I woulda taken a shovel to that thing like 20 times, and another 15 after to make sure 'twas dead.
There the best rodent eliminators on earth, "Don't tread on Me" as they say.
I look at it this way, you don't bother them, they won't bother you.
I was a landscaper for 8 years, so yard work always has that “has to be done” feeling for me. It’s hard to enjoy, since I’m not being paid $18 and hour to do it around the house. Plus the fact that now, I work on a farm...girlfriend wanted to plant the garden today and I was like...uh...no?
We have 1 1/2 acres. We really enjoy the gardening and such. I have had a bobcat, badger and fox right by the house. Lots of turkey and deer daily as well.
The neighbor had his family over the other night I waved at them and
ll, they waved back then I hit what must have been a boulder in the yard, made a sound like a plane caught in a trash compactor...I was dead in the water. So embarrassed I limped my new rider to the garage and fixed her up but I must have looked like a knucklehead lol.

Nice 3rdguy, it's great owning a little bit of land. A few acres may not seem like much to some people, but compared to the yard I had as a kid, I feel like a king now.
I have 5 acres and it never stops i have turned most of that into pasture and garden but we have a ton of wildlife, deer turkey a family of fox and birds and yes snakes too. This was my daughters best friend for the day
But then: it gives you an excuse to keep a close eye on them neighbors and report back on their activity!
I don't know, I've got 14 acres of hay to cut and bale 2 to 3 times a year on top of our vegetable garden which is about half an acre...not to mention my yard that I need to mow every week. I love getting out doors, hate being indoors, but I can think of a bunch of other things to do outdoors than yardwork...especially at my age!
Oh those assholes haven’t cut their grass in Three weeks and then went to Myrtle Beach. You know how hard it is to watch all a them dandelion seeds drift over from their yard to mine?
Everyone who enjoys yard work is hereby invited to help me with mine in another month or so.

I've burnt my hand on a metal shovel handle.
I've come across a few of those guys in the wild out here. The funny thing is they're so big and furry they remind me more of a mouse than a spider.
