Nearly every question I've had so far has been answered. I just Google my questions and this site pops up. I just read the herb grinder thread because I was wondering if it worked and I happen to have one. And yes I do partake. I've had about a dozen surgeries on my back and sometimes my pain meds isn't enough.
I have a huge gripe about this. First the uneducated government decides to make new laws about narcotic Rx so every Dr. is so afraid of writing them that most have chosen not to. So my brilliant Dr. reduces my prescription and gives me nothing else to help.
This new law is supposed to reduce crime, but instead it has increased it in my opinion because what are people supposed to do when their Dr. fails them? Getting a new one doesn't fix the issue. They try giving you non narcotic pain meds that works about the same as or less than Tylenol.
Every election they try to pacify the "groups" and their complaints with new laws when we have laws about the same thing just not the police force to enforce them because they keep cutting personnel.
So in my opinion they create more problems than they solve by pretending to do something about the issues. I mean law abiding citizens don't need new laws and by definition criminals don't pay attention to laws.
I can fill pages with this but I'll stop here. I just wanted to explain why I partake, occasionally, and it makes me angry that I have to because my government and Dr. has failed me.
Back to tobacco and no more politics.
I use my cigar humidor to store my pipe tobacco, pipes, lighters, tools, and cigars. I've never bought an entire box of cigars because I only smoke them occasionally. I usually only smoke 2 types, Arturo Fuentes Short Stories and All Capones Cognac dipped. Been thinking of buying a used pipe stand with a tobacco jar. I guess I'll have to search the threads to see how pipes have to be stored.
My humidor has been sufficient up till now. I've been moving towards pipe smoking more and more. I still like my cigars, but only occasionally. I've come to enjoy pipe smoking some what more.
So now its becoming nearly stuffed. So I'll need to remove the non tobacco items. I may just use the jar on the pipe stand for a couple of my favorite tins, pouches, lighters and tools. Or maybe just a wooden box to store the tins. I have several cigar boxes I picked up at my local shop. So I'll have to research tin storage etc... to make certain I'm doing the right things.
Well thanks for stopping by. Sorry about the rant. I just feel every year some people are getting dumber. No common sense. That's what they get for cutting music and art from schools. Kids that can't think creatively. Also the constant texting and video games probably added to this problem as well. Don't really have anything against either, I play sniper, stealth, and shooter games, but like the man said, everything in moderation. Too much of a good thing can REALLY be bad for you. Especially the good and fun stuff.
