I have been smoking pipes since 1972. I'm kinda proud of my battered old pipes.

I used Photobucket to put together a little slide show.

I'd love to see everyone's pipe collection.

C'mon don't be shy.

Pstlpkr's pipes

Thank you Cortezattic, and you too ghost45,

I thought I looked everywhere for the members' collections.

I'm putting that link in my favorites.

Cortez, I smoke mine only occasionally, just for fun.

The bowls are huge, but they seem to burn a little fast.

So, the time for the smoke is about the same as a good thumb size bowl.

Watch out for the ash at the end,it'll come right through.

I have heard that some will put a little wine in the gourd to prevent that, I never have.

Thanks again guys

Thanks everybody,

I enjoyed photographing my pipes.

I organized the slide show a little better and added some photos of my church wardens.

I look forward to seeing more collections.

Thanks guys,

I too like the Wilmer the best.

Smokes great, its a little careworn, but most of my pipes are over 10 years old.

The Wilmer is nigh on 30.

Thank you Bob,

It only took a couple of hours to photograph.

But, it took another three or four to get the color of the pipes right, about an hour

to upload the pics, and one more to title and comment.

Just used my old (much loved) poker table for the back ground.

It was a lot of fun.

I figured the flute is a pipe with holes drilled in it, so it qualified. :)

Following guys have been known to make a flute really "smoke":

Eric Dolphy, Herbie Mann, Roland Kirk, Jerry Richardson, Hubert Laws, James Moody, Dave "Fathead" Newman, Frank Wess, Jim Newsom, Yusef Lateef, to name but a few.
