We're talking about a luxury we smokers have decided to embrace. It's, at this time, pretty much socially unacceptable and, in some places, taxed. So, it's a personal choice we've made. It's a personal choice any of us can unmake at any time. Just accept the consequences, graciously, of your choice of a wee vice and enjoy the pipe. It's what many of us here do. We've got the income, can afford the price and opted to burn some of our excess cash.

Civilization will collapse in the coming 20-30 years. No age limits but availability will be an issue.

Those in power do want you to believe civilization will collapse in some short time... Civilization has, and does exist in hellish settings in space and time. It ain't going nowhere.
But about your freedoms... I think Schwarzenegger express the feelings of our elected officals when he said, "screw your freedoms."

Defecting to West California, are we?
West and South from here are both out of the question.
I just mean west or south from the whole state. If/when I flee AZ, it won't be in either of those directions.
But the town I'm in is about 65,000...30 miles or so outside of the Phx metro area.
10-4 on west or south of AZ altogether.

Oh, I see...duh...completely missed your meaning.
I'm not sure about town size...not even sure which state yet. I'm not real serious about it at this point...I just see the handwriting on the wall, and it's begun to germinate in my mind a little that I may want to get out of here at some point...even though I can't stand the thought of moving.
AZ used to be a great state to live in, but it's being wrecked in a number of different ways (like I said, CA East)...and all indications at this point seem to be that it will only continue to get worse.
