The three biggest sources of somebody fraudulently using your bank account are online hacks, lost/stolen cards, and, the one that most people do not look out for, is a magnetic stripe reader that thievely a-holes attach to ATMs and "pay at the pump" gas stations.
So next time you swipe your card, you may want to look for a little box shaped device next to it.
