Congratulations on your new adventure!
I remember when WB presented me with a box of business cards. It was evidently a big deal because corporate rules dictated that business cards were only printed for company execs, not artists. But as I had a lot of respect from the Visual Effects community at that time and was better known than many of the people higher on the food chain someone made the decision that my having cards made sense. I was always forgetting to put a few in my wallet. Didn’t really matter as most prospective clients knew who I was, didn’t really need a card, just wanted to discuss the project. That box is probably buried somewhere in the garage

Congrats, man. Sounds like a good start. I spent most of my working life outside my field(s) of expertise, but it worked out pretty well, all in all. i brought what they didn't have and did what they didn't want to do, and enjoyed it. Another good thing, I didn't slave drive myself off hours. I had another life.

Congrats, Mike.

I'll just say that after 20 years in a job, the company gave me business cards (unsolicited),
Six months later, they laid me off.
