You must eat well my friend. All the Sicilians that I grew up with were awesome cooks. My family is from the south but not as far south as Sicily. Our food is similar though. Concentrated flavours and plenty of spice.

When I married her I was pretty trim. Now I am the very picture of a portly priest. Heck yeah I eat well!!! Every weekend there is a 5 gallon pot of sauce cooking on the stove. Smells of garlic, sausage, basil and wine fill the air. Half of the pot goes for us and the other half to friends and family. Sono un uomo felice! :D
