I can't taste flavor

Hello everyone im living in Turkey and here pipe community is really low. I can't find nice pipes and tobacco when i find it its really expensive for a student (1 Dollar = 18,63TRY). Like Mac Baren Virginia no.1 is 650₺ + Shipping, you guys can think this tobacco is 650$ in your country . So i bought this "cheap" thing;

It's Wood Look Hard Acrylic Pipe 125₺ and i buy YD Brown tobacco certificated by goverment. Tobacco flavor is chocolate but its not. Smell and taste is so weird.
I really don't know what i have to do i really love smoking pipe but in my country is so expensive for everything. Can i do my pipe tobacco with normal cigarette tobacco with sweetener or something?

Firstly I suggest you get a corn cob pipe as they are cheap. And will be better than any acrylic pipe.

There are also cheap (non-Chinese made) briar pipes for @ USD $25-30 if you look.

Secondly one of the most disappointing tobaccos I ever had was a chocolate topped blend (I'm a chocoholic). Tried twice and couldn't finish the bowl both times.

There are numerous threads on the Forum with recommendations for blends for beginners.

I started my pipe journey whilst I was an impoverished university student, so I can relate to your situation.

Beginning pipe smokers typically experience lack of taste in their smoke. It takes time to "find" the flavors you are looking for.

There is a MISSOURI America Corn cob Set for 350₺ i think i will buy it. on tobacco topic,if tobacco is not certificated by goverment its illegal. Police caught so many people because of this;

Only few items is legal and you can't find it easily. I have to find illegal tobacco shop or i have to smoke bad tobaccos that certificated by goverment.

I can see pouches of Amphora in your photo which is a blend I have and enjoy.

I have not smoked cigarettes for almost 50 years, so I can't comment on smoking cigarette tobacco in a pipe.
I would suggest not to, as my understanding is that cigarette tobacco has a lot more chemical additives than pipe tobacco.

Turkish police are raiding the tobacco shops bc these tobaccos are illegal in my country. You can't find amphora or captain black in shops. No one can sell these tobaccos legally, some shops sell it but secretly.
About the pipe price yes its sounds like cheap for USD but in Turkish Lira is expensive.

2 MacBaren Amphoras and a Captain Black, the rest is RYO cigarette tobacco, cigarillos and Toscanos.

Most associate Amphora with aromatic blends, but they make a few non-aromatic blends as well.

You may have friends or family returning from the EU, UK or USA. Perhaps they can bring in some duty-free for you.

so cheapest starter kit is 745 Turkish Lira and tobacco is 242 Turkish Lira,with shipping I have to pay 1304 Turkish Lira. It's so expensive for me

Considering the issue of smuggling of cigarettes and alcohol, anyone who sells, puts for sale, transports, and buys related products to the market is sentenced to imprisonment from 3 years to 6 years and a judicial fine of up to 20 thousand liras.

I guess you haven’t been hanging around the right places in Turkey. LOL

They’ve been smoking Meerschaum in Turkey from around the 1600s, maybe longer.

Do you live near Eskisehir?

Eskisehir is suppose to be the Capital of Meerschaum.
