Does anyone know if I can continue to smoke it as is? at least until I can afford to get it repaired. Or should I just take the rest of the Meer out and smoke it as a regular briar?

I'm sorry to hear about that brother. I agree with JoshWolfTree: "this is obviously the doors fault". But it has been my understanding that all meerlined pipes with the exception of calabashes are made using pressed meerschaum. So my recommendation would be either: 1) repair yourself by buying a cheap meer or broke one and grinding it up and making a pipe mud out of it or if you can find meer dust use that, or 2) contact a meer maker and see if they can fit a block liner to the pipe. The 2nd option would provide the best smoke and appearance but the 1st would be much cheaper. Just my 2 cent. Take care and watch out for them doors.
