I came to recommend Wessex Burley Slice as well. I love the Solani ABF (and the other Solani flakes, too) but the Wessex is the best classic “Edgeworth-style” Burley in my book. I tend to gravitate toward the mildly-sweet, cocoa-and-nutty Burleys these days. Don’t get me wrong, the more bold, rustic stuff is good too and I also smoke the hell out of some Toscanos.

I also think Amphora Original Blend is excellent, especially for the price. And Cornell & Diehl Redburn. Trust me, it’s crazy good if you’re after something more complex that still has all-day potential.
I love Solani ABF (better with a couple of years on it)....Toascanos I love .....Amphora Original is good,,,but a little "all day" for me (I mix a touch of a Toscana in and a bit of OJK!....works for me.....especially in the press!

But..........Wessex Burley Slice.....it's the topping ....I just can't get away with that chemical (to me ) taste.
