I bought one from Amazon today, A 32gb 10.1.
Anybody have one, Do you like it?
It took me a few weeks reading reviews to pick one, between the Xoom and the Galaxy I settled on the Samsung.
Not sure what to expect, My sister has a Ipad 2 that I messed around with, I didn't like it that much, The Android seems more computer like. Plus I have a Samsung Android phone. So I figured it's going to be just that, Except the phone part.
Well, Just like to hear if anyone has one and what they think about it.

I don't have a tablet, but I do own a lot of Samsung products, and have found them all to be high quality. I would be willing to bet you're going to enjoy it.

We took a look for my daughter but went with a laptop instead . But as for Android you can do lots of great things . My wife has a color Nook and has not put it down since we bought it . Enjoy your new toy .It will sure be great for playing on the web .

I've been wondering about how they're doing. I wasn't thrilled with the size, so I went with an iPad gen 1 but that makes the geek girl in me cry. I run mostly Android products. My last 2 phones were touch screen Samsungs and the quality bothered me. I have Samsung ALL THE THINGS so when the phones were turds I got a little miffed. Now I'm using an HTC and I like it a lot, but hopefully Samsung redeems their quality for the touchpads.

I considered one, but the iPad was just sexier. I do want an android phone though.

Oh my lord, it IS time for me to put the laptop lid down ... I read the title and thought, "What in god's name have the crazy Americans come up with this time that leaves the rest of the world for dead" ....
I read, "I bought a Samsung Toilet ...." ... I won't tell you the things I imagined this Samsung Toilet capable of doing, suffice to say I'm actually having a real giggle out loud, how embarrassing. Time to find & wear those spectacles!
On the topic of tablets, the Ex hands me his iPad when we drive anywhere longer than 10 mins, just because he knows I'll bury myself in eBay and leave him the hell alone - car time is usually my nagging time and his "to do list appraisal time" if/when he forgets it, so he always ensures he grabs it and the car keys.

 If Samsung made a toilet, I would own it. It would be like an Android version of this:

It would just likely be 3" smaller, have a USB/SD card slot, and sync with your cell phone. ;)

Is there an option to lift the lid?????? and another option to place it in the Down Position when I'm through?????? My better half would like that.

Oh, sorry for getting off topic, but back on topic, I love my iPad gen 1. The only drawback is that it doesn't play flash or wmv. files. Other than that it's great.

OK, back on topic for me too. ;) I bought the iPad 1 for the ebook reader - Kobo - and the screen is the perfect size for me. I'm an unrepentant bibliophile but tree books got too hard on my hands. The instant an Android tablet comes out with the weight, screen, and battery life equal to the iPad it will be mine!

I have had this very unit for the past 7 months. It is my den and travel out puter. I really like it, fast, light and battery lasts forever. I am anti I- anything so I couldn't wait for a something that wasn't Apple.
Conclusion, love it, better than I-anything.
EDIT: I didn't have to do anything to get Flash to work. Huh, wounder if I-anything can get this worked out. :nana:

:laughat: I Pottie.
Well, It shipped, Time is counting down to a new toy! It'll be nice to have something that I don't have to lug around 8 or 9 pounds everywhere just to check mail and log on to PM.com.
Now I have to get a Samsung Toilet to go with my Samsung phone and tab. Then I can really start downloading!!! :D

I use a Kobo e-book reader. It was inexpensive and works great.

I have Toshiba notebook for computer stuff. It's small and easy to carry to coffee shops. That's important when you have to lug it in and out of dinghies to get there.
Good advice - Get off the laptop and put the lid down on the toilet.

LOL, I'm with you pipeinhand! I cry a little every time I pick up my iPad (which is quite often since I now use it more than any of my computers) and I've vowed to replace it with a non-Apple product as soon as finances and technology surpass it.
As for Samsung toys... you'd be impressed with the sheer amount of fangirl! I have 2 monitors (both Samsung) on my desk hooked up to 2 different computers - one is a 24" widescreen LED, the other is a 19" normal flatscreen. We have a 50" Samsung TV in the living room, a 24" Samsung TV hanging on the wall in the bedroom...
Now, the next thing you need to do is go to Levenger.com and get a nifty case/stand thing. Levenger is an addiction all on its own.

LOL
I like that.
Apple isn't bad. It's just that there is a hell of a lot better for cheaper or same amount of cash.
I had a I pod and I hated it, I found mp3 players that surpass it leaps and bounds, Like the Cowon S9. I had one of them and I just could not believe the sound that thing produces with a good headset. and then I bought a zune a couple years ago it is 20 times better then a ipod.
All in all, you just can't beat a stereo from the 60's and 70's. They maybe rated at 15 or 20 watts, But they will shatter windows with high output and super clean sound.
