Use super thick CA+ glue it is a type of hobby grade super glue and great on wood. Works very well on balsa so I am sure it would work well here.

Update its been 6 months since i sent this pipe to Ronni B at Night Owl Works and im starting to worry ill never see it again.
I emailed him Dec 6, 2013 to see if he even received the pipe in the mail yet as i had not received any notification from him other than the tracking number, He responded saying that yes he had it and was struggling to finish the other work he had before starting it and would send me a ransom note near completion.
I was a relieved and more time moved forward i had almost forgot about it until March 13, 2014 i decided to politely email him once more to see if i could get an update on the pipe. I got a really weird response that made no sense what so ever. something about him not joining linkedin i dunno.
should i be worried here.

Send it back and say it came like that/it happened in normal wear, they should replace it free. Also, why would you bother cleaning it if you've never smoked it?

Ronnie can get backed up. I waited nearly 7 months for a job to complete, but his work for me was beautiful. The friendly reminder now and again isn't a bad idea. Over the years I've never had a job that took less than 3 months, which is why I learned to do my own clean up and fixes.

I sent Ronnie a Dunhill, to get one of his Venturi stems made for it. It has been 7 months, lol, but it will be worth the wait.
