To this suggestion: I'm in a similar position to you OP regarding burleys, but I know that I like Carter Hall, which is a Burley/VA blend. Today on C&D I decided to move further into burley territory and got their Pegasus and Oak Alley. The reviews for Pegasus compare it to Carter Hall in some ways. I'm optimistic I'll like both.

More of an aromatic, but still a good one, nonetheless. My wife bought me five more pounds of it during SPC's latest Sutliff bulk sale.

Given my adoration for good simple burley blends, hard to go wrong with Stokkebye’s PS 312 Toasted Burley. Burns cool, slow and even. Fabulous little note of sweetness (not an aro by any means). Always hits the spot for me. Available in cheap bulk.
As usual, my single Pipe rule: Burley heavy blends? MM Cobs.

A couple more that haven't been mentioned yet: Watch City Deluxe Crumb Cut, and Sutliff Match Edgeworth Ready Rubbed. I really like both a lot. Uhle's 300, 00, and Perfection Plug are also favorites.

Solani Aged Burley Flake 656 is outstanding — double plus good! It is the shiz-nitz.

I’m just getting into burley too. Here are the ones I’ve really liked:

It should be as the stuff is delicious. While I appreciate ABF and Wessex Burley Slices, BLWB is my autopilot blend when I just want a smoke that doesn't require a lot of attention.
Solani Aged Burley Flake and CD Burley Flake #1 are both really good, but VERY different.
Aged Burley Flake is mild and sweet. Burley Flake #1 is made with lots of dark burley, plus Perique, so it has a really, well, "dark," somewhat bitter flavor profile. And it's not sweetened at all (as far as I can tell).
CD Burley Flake #2 has more typical burley flavors -- nutty, bitter and sour. You might give that a try -- it's one of my favorites.
For old-timey style burleys, try the Edgeworth Ready Rubbed "Match" blends or Uhle's Perfection Plug (both mentioned above) -- they're lightly sweetened, lightly flavored and fairly mild, but still have the basic nutty burley flavors you'd expect.
Finally, if you find you really like burley, you'll want to try some of the C&D burley blends like Haunted Bookshop, Old Joe Krantz, or Morley's Best (it's based on an old blend called Blue Boar, and has a little bit of Latakia).

All great suggestions but we can't leave out good old prince albert.

I am getting into burley as well. I am smoking Old Joe Krantz right now and liking it. I have loved Tabac Vincent Manil Semois earlier but according to most people it is not a regular burley
My current favorites are: Watch City Slices, Solani 656 Aged Burley Flake, and MB HH Burley Flake. These blends all follow the same formula. Burley-dominant blends with a bit of added flavoring to accentuate the natural flavors of the burley. Basically, if you like Solani 656, I suspect you will also really like these. C&D Burley Flake #3 is another fave. It is quite stout, though as mentioned above, C&D burley blends tend to be lighter (or non-existent) on the added flavors/sweeteners, so they can taste a bit edgier and somewhat "plain.". It is excellent, though, and a nice change of pace to the other 3 listed above.
Samuel Gawith Lakeland Dark is worth checking out.

I'll also second the earlier post or two that recommended Amphora Burley which is a fairly new blend. A member sent me a sample, and I liked it so much, I ordered a pouch. It is straightforward but interesting.
I don’t think anyone recommended Hearth and Home Chatham Manor. It’s a Carter Hall tribute and I could smoke it all day. My favorite is still MB HH Burley Flake.
You guys are a wealth of information on burleys! Much appreciated! I’m thinking about buying a poker for burleys, just seems like the right sort of pipe.
To pick up on Chatham Manor, you can now order all of that PC Midtown series of tub tobaccos in two ounce baggies, so you can sample them before buying a whole tub. I think the baggies are $7 and the tubs are $30.
