Hurricane Preparedness in FL

We all collect tins of pipe tobacco to stock our cellars. Here in the Gulf coast of Florida, we also collect lots of waterproof duct tape!!!

Yeah - another disturbance forecasted to hit this area around Wednesday. So far, they guesstimate a cat 2.
We're near the water - going to stay with friends after buttoning up as best we can.
Our place flooded from Helene, so we aren't finished digging out from that one. Just got replacement washer, dryer & dishwasher today - may not survive even a week if this new storm hits here.
Still, we are not nearly as bad off as those in North Carolina. Pray for them!
