Having reviewed Granger, and provided a scathing opinion, I have to say eating 'humble pie' cold, is not a pleasant task.
I revisited the said blend, and found it not to be nearly so awful as the first couple of occasions.
Accordingly, I have to admit the blend is quite smokeable. I'm unsure if it was because I was feeling unwell at the time (melanomas have knocked me about rather badly) or what the story was, but the stuff looks like it will actually be OK.
Cold humble pie is not an enjoyable dish!

So you took your humble pie and gave it a reheat? Never underestimate the power of leftovers!
I really like that quote about something to sip on. It's tedious having to listen to the "half full, half empty" crew prognosticate on that alleged principle of the way we look at life.
Yes, me too...just put something in the cup so I can drink it, please!

I was on a work commute with a work mate years ago and we were philosophysin' away, I had that one liner as more of a throwaway comment, but the driver had such a reaction to it that I wrote it down to remember ha.

Doesn't make any difference, If you didn't like it? You didn't. I respect your review either way. What's important is how I like it or not. Thank You for your contribution, and continue to smoke heavy, and deep.

As mentioned on another thread recently, I have run into various blends over the years that required a learning curve before I could enjoy them. You sort of figure them out. Sometimes you have to walk away for months or a year or two, but often the second go around proves quite pleasurable. I wouldn't be apologetic. Sometimes, that's just how it goes.

Thanks for that. That's interesting, and very true in this case. And, probably correct in a lot of the other cases also.
