Apparently HU will be available in the US shortly. Beans 316 posted a video and they are listed on SP. Current status is listed as non available but that will probably change. Link to Beans 316
Interesting suppositions concerning Dan Tobacco making the blends. Earlier suppositions said Dan made blends would all be dropped from the line up.
LOVE the machine shop.
Crap video.
If tins do show up I might pick up a couple out of curiosity to see how they compare to pre 2018 versions, when K&K started adulterating them.
Could be lint and sawdust.

Its good tobacco. They may or may not have altered things a bit. Its said they did but also that some of them were changed back. Id put it up against most othere blends. It stands above a lot of them. That said, I dont know if anything I have smoked came after the recent changeover in ownership.

Good opportunity to patronize your local tobacconist. I'm going by there today and touch base with him to see if he will be ordering, and throw my hat in the ring.

Prices at Estervals is pretty much equivalent to what's being charged here in the states. I'd just assume pay the shipping to not deal with trying to get it on these drops.

I've read and watched some stuff on this brand coming in and most come close to orgasmic delight when discussing. I'm sure they are good, but I don't know if I'm gonna sell my truck to buy a batch up. I remember when I was just out of high school and Coors beer finally came east of the Mississippi river. Everyone lost their mind and I guess I did too. Now..... just another beer.

The HU blends are now available on smoking pipes. I just got the email and the link took me to the website showing the price. They all have a limit on how many tins you can buy.

I personally don't think $25 for a 100 gram tin is expensive. That breaks down to $12.50 for a 50 gram tin.

I agree, the price is reasonable.

I take this comment back. There were a couple of blends I wanted to try and I was able t get them with no problems. I was expecting fire sale madness. I have to give credit to SP for placing limits that made this drop available to a wider audience.

Well they proved to be popular.
13 of 18 blends are out of stock on smokingpipes, and a similar % on tobaccopipes.
I am well stocked on the leaf right now and chose to wait and see what others say about them now that more will have access. I'm sure the chatter will increase.

I got a wide selection of HU via Estervals a few months ago but have yet to open any of the tins, so I held back and didn't go after any on this release. I'll be interested in exchanging some samples to do some side-by-side comparisons when I do get around to opening my pre-KK tins. (Or is it just "K" now that Kohlhase has split from the company?)
