love these signs. I read this sign as Wisconsin not the desolate wasteland we think you think it is.
Obviously you have never been to Wisconsin before. Come on up and I will show you around
they usually just don't say much about the place. I remember one that said enjoy your stay. But this one sign you shared is great. I mean it's one step up from saying people, dirt, and plants we got those things.
That said if I saw one of these welcome to our state signs and it said birthplace of whatever mass murder was born there or something hardcore I'd be freaked out.
I have been through several of the States but didn't get to spend anything more then travel.
