I travel fairly often, and I’ve had pretty poor luck in coming across decent selections at the Duty Free shops. I’ve only managed to pick up a couple of tins of Davidoff blends, but nothing notable.
A humble suggestion is to research some B&Ms to visit while you are traveling. Depending on where you will visit, you could come across some interesting little shops and have some good conversations. During my short time with this hobby of ours, I’ve found the worldwide pipe community to be very friendly and inviting. Have fun!
