What a neat website! I don’t know much about pipes in general, but I did start carving them out of briar last year. I’ve only made a few, but I love the whole process. I like the idea of having a steps that must be taken, in order to achieve an end. For instance, having a nice shaving kit, or making a complicated drink. Pipe smoking (it seems) falls under this category. You need your supplies, and it requires a little time and effort before you really get going. I enjoy the processes in life, and I am excited to get to know more about my newest hobby.

A Billiard is a pipe shape that goes along along and ends in a bowl. Apparently, quite important if you carve pipes; I'm only going by what I've read hereabouts, you understand.
