Hey from central North Carolina and welcome aboard. Farming is quite a gamble, but if you scramble up that learning curve, you may have a good life. My wife grew up on a cattle farm in NE Missouri near the Miss. River and the Iowa line. Then she spent her adult career on Manhattan and Long Island, NY.

It's definitely hard work, but I like that. Mostly focused on providing for ourselves right now. Pretty nice not to have to worry about egg prices.
