Nah, there won't be any of that going on here! We mostly are here for childish namecalling, rampant proliferation of disinformation, cathartic outbursts, toilet humor, or any combination of those. Only once those endeavors no longer amuse us do we resort to actually talking about pipes and tobacco. And only just long enough to recharge a bit, and then pick up where we left off.
But look on the bright side: at least there's no hazing for new members. Yet... @cosmicfolklore is working tirelessly on that one, but he's mired in a years-long approval process. Scuttlebutt says he's making some serious headway there, but the Mac Baren/Sutliff stuff kind of threw a monkey wrench into the whole thing. All impactful decisions on this forum have to be run past the brass at STG first.

Nice intro. Is it just me or are we seeing a bunch of Texans coming on lately! Happy to see the community is still expanding and welcome aboard. Your story of becoming more of a regular piper is similar to my buddy’s son. His father has been piper smoking along with cigars for years but once his friends wanted to try it he got hooked himself.
