It's funny to see this thread today, because I was wondering the same thing a few days ago. I hadn't smoked an aromatic tobacco in a long time and I was in the mood for one, so I popped open a tin of Drew Estate Toasted Black Cavendish that I found in the back of my cellar. The reviews haven't been too good for these Drew Estate blends over the years, although I've liked a few, but I had never tried this one though and I was wondering when it was made. It looks like mine was made in 2013 too. I find I have to dry most aromatic blends out before smoking, and the most efficient was I found to do this is spread some on a plain piece of paper and nuke it in the microwave for 10-15 sec, then let it cool for about 10 min. and it was ready to go. I really enjoyed this blend more than I thought I would, and I'll be smoking another bowl today.
Thanks for your post!
