I can hook the output into a transmitter I have and that transmitter if set on say, 1310kHz for am radios will play though the same frequency set on the radio dial and that's any radio anywhere in the house. You only need one transmitter for all radios. Pretty neat.

Now that you"ve retired you can rub your dogs belly with your foot and watch his Lipstick. The old cajun
 I still get a charge out of that one. Poor guy never has been able to display it for some reason. Neutering must have really fixed him good.

Thanks, oldpops. I'm really enjoying this sleeping till 8-9:00 every morning...so if my dog!
I'm considering buying an ipod and wondered if you up to date electronically guys could give a thumbs up(or down) to this one. I mostly want it for downloading music so I can hook in to my transmitter and play songs through these old radios. I'm not into gaming, facebook and I don't "tweet". So, I don't need those features.

Hey Colcolt - you might want to visit here:
http://store.apple.com/us/browse/home/specialdeals/ipod
Apple sells refurbs with a full 1 year warranty. These models are really just as good as new (IMHO, even better because they were bought new with an issue and now the issue has been fixed)
You can pick up a 4g - which is what I have. My wife has a 5g and there's little difference and you save a bundle. And if you seriously only intend to use it for music, you prolly can get away with an 8gb.
If you think you might want to do more with it, go for the 32gb (better value too). Good luck.

I didn't have a clue how much music 8, 16 or 32g would hold so I thought about the big one. I probably don't need more than 8g. That should hold more than I can listen to in a month. I'll check that link out and thanks.
