When I get to the bottom of my mason jars of tobacco, I find I have maybe a bowls worth of pretty fine power - that I'm not sure I can really smoke, (maybe I can use it as snuff,)! Is this pretty standard?

I have actually smoked an entire bowlful of these sort of “dust-like” crumbles quite a few times over the years. With the old 1 pound canisters of any codger blend, this would be rather commonplace to find these “dust-like” crumbles of pipe tobacco at the bottom of the tub.

I typically find it quite enjoyable to smoke. It is (as would be expected) a different experience than the leaf in its normal cut….. usually a heavier texture to the smoke, the bowl tends to be shorter lasting, and you get a quicker feel of the nicotine. Flavors can be a bit more intense as well.

Overall, I tend to find it a fun and enjoyable last bowlful from a tub.
