Well done saltedplug...
I'm just trying to get to 100 posts so I can trade some stuff. :)

:::sigh::: The question is... if a tree falls, and no one is there to hear it, does it make a noise? Not, did it fall? Obviously, the fact that it fell is indisputable with evidence of the event. Did it make a noise? Noise, being a sensation of a stimulus. No, if no eardrums senses the vibration of airwaves, then it is not a noise. It is merely a vibration that went unnoticed and uncategorized as a sensation, but it did fall.

I have a few tins of Kajun Kake that are bulging. Who knows whats going on in there with that blend. Time will tell.

I just got a few aged tins of McClelland.

97 100g VA Woods, still in perfect shape.

99 50g Navy Cav, bottom slightly bulging

96 100g Navy Cav, bottom bulged, top bulged enough that its clearly pushing the plastic lid up and the tab is off the top at an angle from the bulge.

I think I'm gonna have to pop that one soon... I don't like the idea of it bursting and not knowing...

I let them ride. I have a couple hundred tins that look like hockey pucks, all from C&D. My McClleland tins don’t have much bulge at all and stack just fine

I have some VA blends (like Christmas Cheer) from the early 90s. Many are bulging but I have not yet had one pop on its own. I live at about 900 feet above sea level, so a higher elevation could make a difference.

I'd never opened a tin with a bulging lid until I opened a tin of C&D Riverboat Gambler that I'd aged for four or five years. It smelled great as I opened it and is a good strong burley-plus blend. So my associations with bulging tins so far is good. This tin went back to when C&D was in Morganton, N.C., and that's been a while.
