Unfortunately, this whole Sutliff situation has me acting a bit like I did when there was a .22 ammo shortage a few years ago. It was all overblown, but I remember waiting in line at my local gun shop

Since I prefer to smoke different tobacco’s throughout the week (Va/Pers, English, Burleys, etc) I cellar more widely than deeply. I have picked up a few Sutliff blends I like, though, this past week, just in case.

Here are two of my tobacco cases, and one of many tubs.

Very nice cellar! I also remember the ammo shortages a few years ago. I also stood in lines in various places to get my ammo rations. Haha

I was able to buy on time, cheap, and at the local tobacconist's, and I think the vast majority of my cellar is concentrated in Capstan blue, gold, and mac baren virginia flake. And 8 ounce tins of English blends, which I was able to buy at smokingpipes, when it was possible to bring them to Europe. I am not sure, maybe 50/60 kilos of tobacco in general.

I probably have 4 decades worth of tobacco stored. I have 1 or 2 pounds of a few blends that I care a lot about, such as Ten to Midnight, WhiteKnight, and Bengal Slices. I've also cellared a lot of variety that I'm excited to get to, eventually.

I have about 3/4 of a pound of BCA cellared. I have some faith that STG will crank out BCA as long as they remain in the pipe tobacco business. It cellars well, but I've never smoked it older than 5 years.

If Lane ever closed, I'd probably snatch up two or four 5-pound bags of the stuff and deal with the credit card statement as it comes.

I have as much dunhill nightcap and Prince Albert as I could afford. Over the years I built it up to at least 7-10 years worth. I'm screwed after that because most of these blends seem to be disappearing. I worry the codger blends could be next
