Some of the more senior members of PM.com would have immediately known the answer to the OP's quiz.

And they also would reasonably surmise that the wedding venue mentioned was probably Chinese-related in some way.

Thanks for the info and article Cortez. Actually it was a local traditional wedding venue which has no relation to Chinese tradition. I just guess the doors were imported from China. That might explain it.
