ash, look at it this way. You never ran into a loser and every blend I listed was a winner. Wat more could you ask. I have no schooling in tobacco, just good taste, that should be good enough for you and if it isn't then to damn bad. Consider your self blessed you even got to read my list. You may kiss my ring when the mood strikes.
It was a very good list! I'd say I have 10 tins or more of...11 of the Virginia flakes in your list, 4 of the Virginia Perique, and 3 of the Va/Bur/Kentucky selections listed. Some of the others you list I have, but maybe not at the 10 tin threshold.

I remember years ago when you put up your Va and VaPer list. I purchased one or two of EVERYTHING on the list. The above (mine) are the deep cellared survivors.

You list saved me money and cost me money. So there’s that.
Recently I'm 12 tins deep in Orlik Dark Strong Kentucky because of Cigrmaster. It's all your fault.

Wasn't Nostradamus a Polish pervert, you know, long unkempt hair, wild-eyed, who cobbled together living quarters somewhere outside the Gdansk shipyard, whose stench was reminiscent of old
cheese and whose image called to mind Aqualung?

Small cellar, but enough.

Mark, my powers of prediction have been proven right too many times for anyone to doubt me. If you choose to ignore my advice, you do so at your own peril. All I need to do is gaze upon all my tins of Rotary Navy Cut and pat myself on the back for being right as usual. It's a tough thing always knowing what is coming down the pike.

I will be laughing my ass off when tins of Cult Blood Red Moon are going for over 60 a tin.

dmc, you had better get moving on the stocking up. I prefect that companies like Fribourg & Treyer, Wessex and Astlesys are all going the way of the dodo. When I say something, pretend it is coming from Nostradamus.
Those three I do have a fair amount of, CVP, Vintage and Special, and Astley's 44. Wessex Brigade campaign at least 20 tins, same with Dunhill Flake in the old rectangular tins. Similar quantities of Luxury Flake and Sir John's; and Klondike Gold - all from the 2013~15 time period. I told you I read the list way back when!

Harris, a broken clock is correct twice a day. Best call on the Rotary and Klondije Gold. Cult Blood Red Moon? Okay.

Not mentioned yet are: Meistermischung 88/Kohlhase, Kopp und Co. KG 88 and Pfeifen Huber Virginia Golden Flake. Both of these are straight Virginia flakes that should age well. Also, I've SG Full Virginia plug rather than flake cellared as well as the private release SG FVP by Pfeifen Huber called "Epikur". Given the choice of the same tobacco in plug of flake form I think I prefer plug for cellaring.

My cellared VA flakes are heavily skewed towards McClelland. From memory:

McC 40th: 28
McC #24: 40 x 50g, 24 x 100g
McC Blackwoods Flake: 40 x 50g, 24 x 100g
McC Sophisticate: 20
McC Christmas Cheer: 36 going back to 2001
Escudo: 50+
Peterson Signature Flake: 14
Sutliff Crumble Cake Red VA: 20
Sutliff Crumble Cake VaPer: 20
Sutliff Cringle Flake: 20
McC Beacon Extra: 24
McC #27: 12 x 100g

Might be missing a few.

Very interesting seeing the quantity behind cellared tins. I have so much tobacco in my rotation relative to how much I smoke (of which I rarely smoke the same tobacco back to back or even frequently) that 2 tins is considered cellared. The most of any tobacco I own is 10 tins of 100g. I literally have a "tin" of Old Growrie I opened in 2013 that I still havent finished today. I have to be on a mission to smoke a tin completely in less than a year. Very few tobaccos I've tried were smoked faster than one month. Only 1 tobacco tin has ever been smoked in a weeks time.

BTW all of you are my heroes. Been smoking cigars 4 years and pipes 3 years, and I'm still getting to know what I like and mixing up my own little custom blends with the blender tobacco's. I sure know how to smoke a pipe properly, but I definitely don't have anything cellared yet, unless you count a pound of all the P&C and C&D blending tobacco's. I have 3 tons Burley Flake #1, but that's the extent of my "cellar" LoL.

I can only aspire.

Guess I will have to aspire with the August 8th thing coming up here in the US
What’s the august 8th thing? Apparently I live under a rock.

I am very similar to this mentality. I have about 45 mason jars in rotation. Do more Virginia’s but some English. But in a given week I probably smoke ten different blends of not more. I have a decent cellar starting, but 90+ tins of one blend is mind blowing to me. I have 6 of sun bear. Multiple bags of multiple esoterica. Lots of Balkan sobranie. I guess I fear tastes changing. When I got into this, I was obsessed with English blends. The smell of them was mesmerizing to me. I had never experienced a tobacco like it in cigars or elsewhere. First English tin was Presbyterian. Still have probably 1/4 of that tin left, a year later. And now I’m way more into Virginia’s and vapers. But deep down I’m just jealous of all of you big boys. I must remember I’m only a year in to this hobby.

This is me, as well. I have 72 little jam jars full of partials going back to 2013 when I started smoking.

I never really divided my cellar into flakes, so this is a cool thread. I also have a pittance compared to the heavy hitters, but I make a lot less money than they do. I do my best, though.

Top of my head:
OGS - 45 (I got in on the cheap years)
Escudo - 15
Christmas Cheer - 28
MacBaren ODF - 2# Jarred
Mac Baren Navy Flake - 20 tins, 6# Jarred
PS LNF - 10# Jarred
PS Twist Flake - 5# Jarred
PS LBF - 10# Jarred
FVF - 1.5# Jarred

I have done my best to have a robust cellar. I have a lot of stuff, but I can't think of any other flakes now.

I look at all of these posts and realize how much time I missed between my ex-wife's destruction of my pipes and now. I might have the equivalent of 30 tins of Flakes, all blends combined. It sucks, truly.
