How Many Pipes Do You Members Own?

I have 11 briars and 2 Meer's

I have 35. This is a mixture of briar, clay, meer and cobs. All are used, but some more than others.

I smoke 7 in a regular rotation.

I have 4 I seldom smoke.

I have 3 that I picked up cheap at an antique store that I cleaned up that I don't plan on ever smoking.

I have 150 pipes. I'm not a collector, I just can't help myself. They all get smoked on a regular basis.

I have over 50 but haven't done an official count lately. Over 30 of those are pipes I rescued from antique junk shops/malls and flea markets. I have been thinning the herd a little and sold 4 pipes that are of less value to me. I probably have 15 that I smoke on a regular basis.
I just can't resist when I find a Danish Freehand like a Preben Holm or Ben Wade, Ascorti or a Peterson for under $50.

I happily sent off five pipes to Bagram Air Base some weeks ago. I think that brings the census down to a few over 80, but like many, I'm reluctant to do a count. Silly, but true. I have one new pipe I bought two or three years ago that I have yet to smoke, I don't know why. Maybe to inhibit more purchases, though it didn't quite do it. I smoke all of my pipes in a slow rotation, one or two bowls a day, with a day off now and then, so every bowl is in a different pipe. I don't have any pipes in storage or awaiting repairs. Most are mid-range or low price, with perhaps a dozen higher end, purchases and gifts. I've considered if I would have preferred fewer higher end pipes, but I really savor the variety, and I have enough high-end pipes to fill that need. I do admiringly smoke my MM cobs with acrylic stems, my Yello-Bole and my Kaywoodie Drinkless.

After 3 months I've collected 8 pipes - 4 briars and 4 cobs. I have pipes dedicated to English blends, aromatics, virginias/vapers/burleys, and lakelands.

I just got up to count and saw 5 in my cabinet.

2 that I love and smoke regularly

1 that I smoke infrequently and hope it will grow on me

2 disappointments that I wish I hadn't bought (including a Sav 320)
And then there's at least a dozen cobs scattered throughout my life (in my boats, trucks, tool boxes, office, garage, etc.) that get way more action than all my briars put together. That's right, my name is Wolf Larsen and I'm a corn cob addict … and please don't ask me to count my tobacco tins.

I have a little over 2 dozen but more than half are restoration projects. Of my regulars I usually only reach for any of about 5 but I also have a couple that I keep for sentiment.
Of the restoration projects, a few are marked as gifts once complete and a few are marked for leaving in my camper/backpack/fishing gear/etc.

Not enough. I may smoke the same pipe for weeks at a time, I may smoke more than one different pipe a day. I never know what will happen, so I will never have enough.

Eight cobs, 13 briars and two falcons with two falcon bowls, I did have more but I gave them away to a friend when I realised I never smoked them. More than enough for me as I smoke around one to two bowls a day or less some weeks.

Too many? I guess somewhere down the Road I changed from a strict Pipe-Smoker to also a sort of collector and stand at around 154 Pipes ( Last Counting). Yeah. That will be... interesting to explain later down in life.^^ At least I managed to let some of my lowr grades but I already replacced them with some new ones. I guess my collection will just keep slowly growing.
