I average around one pound of tobacco smoked per month. At that rate, I've got ~45 years worth of tobacco.

Well I smoke about 26 hours a day give or take a few minutes. Each bowl takes a 50gram tin, and lasts for 20 minutes or so. So 78 pipes per day (I toss them in the trash after a virgin smoke) and 78 tins of premium tobacco.
I follow the loony calendar, so will check later how much moon there is before I finish this math. It's complicated.

8 bowls a week, 3 grams average, 52 weeks makes 1200 grams a year. I have about 4000 grams in the cellar, so I have over 3 years now. My goal is 5 years at the end of this year, at this pace I only need 2000 grams.

I only smoke once a day through the week. A little more on the weekends. At that rate, I’ve got about an 8-10 year supply. But I know I’ll smoke more as the kiddos get older and require less constant attention. Guess I better keep buying!

Look, I don’t live on this island for no reason! LOL ?

Drying, packing, tamping, sipping, relighting, cleaning the pipes, that’s about all I want for my brain thinking.

The rest of my brain power is spent, in dreaming about buying nice pipes, and figuring out nice blends. ;)
