That is the reason I formatted my original post in this specific manner:
"The 8oz. jars should easily hold 2 ounces of any cut."
I have many many jars but what i learned later in life is bulk and 500g boxes, or whatever are just as well put in mylar and heat sealed, i might put some in a jar to smoke over time but the majority of it goes in mylar and if think you might want to dip into it just get smaller mylar bags and do however many grams in each one.

I can get a 2 oz. tins worth into a 4 oz jar after taking out enough for one or two pipes, but mosty now just heat seal the rest in a 5x7 7 ply mylar double sealed at the top. Those are for cellaring random leftovers. The jars are used for the “current rotation” of 3-4 selections or larger jars for bulk cellaring. Otherwise I am leaving them all in original tins. For Dunhill/Mac Baren tins, I will take the internal package out if already opened and mylar them or if unopened, I will coat them with a light coat of food grade cutting board food grade mineral oil to prevent rust and mylar just in case of a lost seal.
