All of 'em! Got a small repertoire right now, but as I am a home canner and brewer, I got mason jars begging to be filled with delicious leaf!

I'm beginning to realize that I have way too many open tins, or jarred bulk that I dip into every so often.
Part of that's because I'm a relatively new pipe smoker. The other part is that I have so many different kinds of tobacco, that I want to try them all!
Eventually, I'd like to shoot for around 3-6 open tins at a time (but I still wouldn't be able to smoke it very quickly). I figure 1 or 2 tins/jars of each type I have a pipe dedicated to would be a good goal. I have 4 pipes for aromatic, 3 for VA, and 3 for English/Latakia blends.
So, 1-2 tobaccos for each would be ideal, but I think I might suffer from PTADD (Pipe Tobacco Attn Deficit Disorder)

I've only been a pipe smoker since last October I now have 15 open tins and 12 unopened. Eight 8 oz. sealed jars from bulk blends. One 16 oz. jar too.

4 of my "big jars" that I keep filled with my favorites.

I only have 4 loose tins open right now. Two at work, two at home.

OMG, Kevin I wish you hadn't started this thread!
I got to looking around at my many stash hidey holes (I have a very nosey wife, who counts my tins). Too many open tins to count. I found some "dust" in a couple of pipe pouches. I mean dust!
Then I looked at my nifty SP, glass pipe tobacco humidor thingy. The Tobac is dry as duck feathers. Oh, woe, oh, woe.
And my day has just begun.

I guess I just need to work on my discipline. Doesn't help that most online vendors are free shipping at around $100. Maybe I should just start buying more quantity of the same thing (for aging purposes), and not one of everything that I want. It's gonna be tough, there's so much out there I haven't tried yet

I dont remember who started the thread, but someone on here posted some time back that theyll pop a tin and smoke nothing but that entire tin until the tin is gone. I have recently started following this school of thought. So, my short answer is that I only keep 1 open tin at a time. Sticking with a blend until its gone really helps me pick out all the flavor nuances and learn how the blend burns, what pipes it goes best in, etc. Once I finish a tin, Ill spend a week or two dipping into various bulk purchases and samples I have been given for a change of pace, and then I pop the next tin and stick with it until it is gone.

Quite a few jars but I haven't been smoking out o those recently.

Open tins are:

MacB Old Dark Fired

GL Pease Ashbury (almost gone :( )

McClellend 3 Oaks Syrian

Davidoff Royalty

I'm so tempted to open a new VA or VaPer but the ODF is getting a bit dry as I only smoke about half a flake a day. Seriously wish I had more time to smoke!
