I eliminated all the ones that are 1Q under different names.
49. I'm experimenting less and less as I spend more and more time with the blends I like. Which was always the point of it all anyway.
EllifIno. Hundreds, I guess. Been doing this for 50 years. Never thought of keeping track of what I smoked when I was in college.
In 9 months I’ve purchased 57, tried 49.

I just counted. I have 80 jars of tobacco. That doesn't count the unopened tins. Nor does it count all the samples that I have tried from all the pipe shows I have been to.
Surprisingly, I was able to sit down and list 78 of them so that number is probably pretty accurate.
Just when my Pipetool iPhone App was killed by the author of it abandoning it three years ago, I had tried 85 different blends, so by now it is probably closer to 200.
I did start a journal at one time, but it started to feel too clinical to keep records, so I just tossed it aside for frolicking in the tobaccos with wild abandon.

I really have no idea. The ballpark number that comes to my head is 50, but that's just a guess.
I usually have around 10 tins open at a time though, and I've been smoking a lot in the last 6 months, so maybe it's higher than that.
I'm just so grateful I've gotten a chance to try a ton of unicorn blends before they disappear forever.
I've smoked more cigars than I can possibly count though. When I was reviewing them seriously (not professionally, just hand-writing reviews in a book for personal enjoyment) I reviewed around 400 different cigars, and only reviewed one in about 10 that I smoked.

I write a personal review of every tobacco I have tried. I'm just over 400 blends now. So much tobacco to try, so little time.
Probably not as much as most, maybe 50. Pipe smoking as a tough hobby for a poor man lol
