How many cross-smokers out there?

I used to smoke cigars, but like pipes way more. My favorite cigars were Dunhill Montecruz La Romanas (La Romana being the important bit) and fresh Buteras. I've had Cubans that were a totally different experience, not the same thing but better, a wholly new and wonderful smoke. The thing is, as has been said, a good cigar will run you $10 and an hour of your life; a pipe is much cheaper, you get the joy of buying new pipes, and you get to mess with it while you're smoking. Also, pipe smoke will be gone the next day, cigar smoke won't. And cigar smokers are normal people, pipe smokers are above average

I still smoke cigs at work, just don't have time there to enjoy a pipe. When I get home I may have one or two the rest of the evening, or on a day off. But I love my pipes.

If a good cigar wasn't so expensive, I'd probably smoke a couple every week. There was a three month time frame where I spent forty bucks a week on cigars, but started doing the math and stopped buying them as often. Now, I smoke about 4 bowls a day, and a couple cigars on occasion. Maybe 10 a year.

I usually have a few cigars on hand. I really enjoy them, just as I do pipes but they are too expensive to smoke often. Padron has been my favorite for a few years now, even there little $3.50 cheapies are better than most every other cigar I've tried. Maduro almost always. I prefer cigars a lot of times if I'm walking while smoking or out and about going to a bar or something. Kindof feel like a pipe-wuss admitting it but I like cigars in certain situations just to avoid getting the stare-and-giggle that I sometimes get when smoking a pipe in public.

I smoke cigars but enjoy the pipe more. I usually smoke cigars on the weekend but if its stressful at work, I like to smoke a cigar afterwards. I started with cigars, but then got intrigued with the pipe and headed that route. Pipes offer a whole different level of satisfaction but there are times when a cigar just is what the doctor ordered.

I used to smoke a lot of cigars, their were I number that I remember really enjoying. But I ended up trying pipe one night and was converted. I switched to pipe because it is much cheaper and because differentiating between cigars was really tough for me. So now days I smoke a cigar maybe once and month, hookah a few times a month, and then pipe is my go to! Proud to say I have never tried a cigarette!

I smoke only a few cigars a month now than back on a pipe binge. Had a Cohiba Behike recently that lived up to all the hype and is my favorite Cuban.

I'm mostly a wintertime pipe smoker because I can smoke my pipe indoors. The balcony calls my name when it is warm out & I usually grab a cigar.
