How many cross-smokers out there?

I was just now reading an email add from P&C about a trade show they're going to, and it talked about how much fun they're going to have smoking lots of great tobacco and cigars.
Aside from just being envious of them, I realized that there must be a number of pipe smokers who also smoke cigars.
It's interesting - I love almost every pipe tobacco that I've ever smoked, but I've never smoked a single cigar that I've enjoyed. I've tried several times to smoke cigars, but I never found one that I liked. But I love pipe tobaccos of all sorts across the board.
I was just wondering how many pipe smokers are also cigar smokers. My first guess would be that most pipe smokers are pretty much just pipe smokers, but I'd be interested in what the response is here.

Aside from the son part I'm the same way. My buddy Randy buys cigars from time to time, and will occasionally buy one for me. And From time to time, I will buy myself one.

i started smoking cigars first but i do enjoy pipes more. I have smoke a few bowls around the house but when I'm out for a walk i do smoke cigs instead. not sure why, just maybe i feel a little weird smoking a pipe down the street. you never see it.

I started with pipes and love certain low nicotine cigars to death. Cigars are much easier to smoke, they are more enjoyable, but much harder to find the way you like and way more expensive. Pipes, you can put anything in them, pipe tobacco is way cheaper and easier to find what you like.
Between the two I like pipes for normal usage and cigars for special events and car rides (premium cigars have never burned my clothes, but pipes have in the car).

During the hot humid summer, I find it easier to smoke cigars. I enjoy a cigar late in the evening - like around 10:30 or 11 ...long after dark - though I never stop using the pipe. In fall and winter, pipes dominant my time.

I smoke cigars maybe 2 or 3 times a year. I like a good Romeo and Juliet or Montecristo.

I smoke both, almost equally. Though now in the summer if its just too hot or too windy, I resort strictly yo a cigar even if i am in the mood more for a pipe, as I am an exclusive outdoor smoker.

They use a whole different strain of tobacco. Some are dried in special temperature and humidity controlled rooms. Sometimes the rooms are lined with certain woods, and have different herbs and spices in them. That is about the extent of my knowledge on the subject

I'll smoke a cigar once in a while. I usually keep a few in my small humidor. I like to smoke one when I grill. It's hard to cook on a grill and keep a pipe lit, to me anyway.

Cigar for me is more special occasion like weddings and New Year's Eve. Pipes are for every other time. No dip, chew, or cigarettes EVER!

Keep a few cigars on hand for when the mood strikes. Otherwise, it's all pipes, all the time.
