Depends on the size of the bowl. Smoking a large bowl requires more time than I have, so I either relight a partially smoked bowl later, or do partial fills. Either way, from 2 to 5 large bowls most days. Then I'll take a break from smoking for several days every few weeks to give my mouth tissue a break.
I gave up cigs in 1983. Went from two packs a day to zero with a snap of the fingers. I was leaving the lot and finishing the last cigarette in the pack as I walked out the gate and thought to myself, "Don't think I'll buy another pack until I really want one." 31 years later I still don't want one.
I didn't smoke anything for close to a decade before taking up the pipe again.
