How long to clay and corn cobs last?

@Jesster109 I've lost count of how many clays I've broken!

I'd likely have the same story to tell if I smoked clay a bunch. I don't really sit and enjoy that often - I'm doing "things." Not necessarily being productive, but relatively active, not sure clays and that go together.

like peanut butter and jelly sandwiches...

Being late to the pipe smoking scene, I happen to already be familiar with peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.

Clay pipes: some folk are cursed and can manage to break a clay just by looking at it the wrong way: I'm one of those.

I'm pretty good at babying things. I might have better luck.

So, regarding clay pipes, how do you clean them? Any special considerations?
